"I had a late lunch here yesterday, fresh into Huanchaco. The beer was very cold, the arroz con mariscos had several types of seafood and a plateful of rice for less than S/20. Tasty, inexpensive and quick."

"El cangrejo huanchaquero se encuentra en la ciudad de Trujillo, Distrito de Huanchaco, frente al mar que lleva el mismo nombre. Es el último de los restaurantes que se encuentran frente al mar, por lo que si vas a pie puede ser un poco complicado llegar (mas o menos un km desde el muelle) por lo que se recomienda tomar transporte.Recomendación: La jalea mixta, acompañada de pilsen trujillo"

"La canchita tenía insectos (gorgojos) y el maíz morado de la chicha también porque tenía un sabor y olor raro. El chupe de pescado estuvo bueno pero el tiradito muy ácido. La encargada me dijo que no podía hacer nada porque esa era su sazón "y si no le gusta no es nuestro problema". No tiene libro de reclamaciones ni emite facturas porque "no está informada de eso""

"Grilled octopus and parmesan scallops were both delicious. Unfortunately, the street out front is all torn up with construction, but you can still see the surfers when you sit on the second floor balcony. Service is friendly and fast. Even though it wasn't listed on...the menu, I had a side order of french fries that were very nicely crispy."

"I've been driving to lucho del mar for 10 years. every meal I had here is delicious. the fish is so fresh. I had the best shrimp cocktail I've ever eaten, the sauce was fabulous. the restaurant is located directly on the sea. it has a beautiful view of the beach and the pier. they can get up for the best of view. lucho and his wife consuelo have this real sign restaurant for decades. one of them is in the rule to welcome them and make suggestions to match their taste. their employees have long been with them, lucho and consuelo are wonderful hosts. when they go to the huanchaco beach, don't miss lucho del mar!"

"Years ago, this was our favorite restaurant in Huanchaco. The owner, a nice old lady used to cook herself the best arroz con mariscos we've ever had.Now she doesn't cook anymore but still they know how to get the right flavors that separate the restaurant from the rest. Mariscos a la parrilla is just fantastic, a must-try every time we visit Huanchaco. It changed a lot over the years. It got cleaner and more sophisticated and they also raised their prices a lot! On the menu the two white wines were listed as S./40 and S./60. But the waiter (a nice guy) said that they were old prices and decided to charge 60 and 80. I ordered the wine anyway because of I just love their grilled seafood. The Cebiche is good but not the best in town."
