"Maybe it was bad timing, but neither service or flavour or price were good. Notice that for a Peruvian good is for every single restaurant. I 've ordered a duo with ceviche and rice with sea products. First one was overcooked and salty, the second one...was missing flavour and the type of rice was not the correct for arroz con mariscos . I could barely count the fruits of the sea...I 've expected better. Finally, the drink presentation was half of water out of the cup. Not a good day...maybe"

"Solid Peruvian cooking in airy pleasant room. A busy place that is equally popular with locals and travellers. It is back 100-150 meters from the road in the corner of a large amount with a Primax fuel station (they call it grifo shell because... used to have Shell and still some oil products) on the Northbound side of the Pan Americana Sur just before ICA. Do not confuse it with another place directly at the entrance to the Primax. Nothing refined, but the room is cool and you can put tables together for big parties. A good menu with the traditional list of options (meat, fish, chicken, rice). Food is fresh and comes pretty fast with the strange Hiccup. Everything was good. We were in a hurry, but others seemed to enjoy a longer meal. A great way to break the drive. S./174 for 5 plus tip. If you go to Ica-Nazca, it's worth it, dune-bugging. Beautiful landscape and fun. Try to find a guide that will take you away from the masses on a personal tour."

"Nice new place just next to the lake. Service was so-so, the waiter was young and probably didn´t have much experience. But the food was nice (for the kind of place and price range . We ordered fish and fried Chinese rice. What was really great...was their Pisco Sour! Long and strong! We got there when it was 2for1 and with those 2 drinks we got happy for the rest of the night :"

"This restaurant is charming, has great friendly staff and fresh, reasonable priced food. We found it to be the best restaurant in Haucachina and after discovering it did not bother going any where else. The location is one of the last restaurants around the oasis on the left. The staff do not speak much English but were warm, happy and patient/helpful with our lack of Spanish which is hard to find in south america. We ate the Palta a la reyna which was a fresh salad with vegetables, advocado and chicken pieces, Ceviche mixo and Ceviche de pescado which were big portions served with onions, corn and roasted kennel corn (which is traditionally served with Ceviche). The Chicha morada is one of the best we have tried in Peru with apple pieces and is good served at room temperature 'tempo '. The restaurant was busy, I am surprised not many reviews have been done yet. We recommend everyone to this restaurant if they are going to Haucachina and if your on a budget you can share a meal. The other restaurants around the oasis are pushy and strand along the walk way pushing you into their restaurant, but the quality and price are bad."
