"When with some friends and ordered the fish kabobs with the famous salad de chonta. Consisted of two skewers with four chunks of fish each, intersperse with a slice of onion and red pepper. Could have used more of that. Two salsas, one mild, one spicy. Both were good. Accompanied with two huge potatoes, although rice would have made more sense. It was a switch from the usual sauteed fish. It was good but not great. Cost S/25. The beef dishes run higher S/30-40."

"In the week and a half we spent in Iquitos, we are here maybe half the time. It's not the best food, but it can be trusted (didn't get sick the entire time) and the prices are more affordable than other places we ate. The staff was pretty friendly overall, as they got to know us after eating there so much. I don't recommend the desserts... was not impressed."

"Love the lunch special! Appetizer dish of soup or salad, entree and drink. Soups are very delicious! Main meal is always great! Wish the sauces were more picante! you also get a nice pitcher of juice of your choice. All this for just under $5 us or S/16.0 I would have given a 5 rating if it weren’t for the waitress always bringing me my entree when I’m only half way through my appetizer, cause then my main dish is cold. Overall nice price and delicious food."

"I normally do not write a review but this restaurant worth it. We stayed in Iquitos 3 days in September and were looking for a restaurant to have dinner, on Saturday the restaurant was empty comparing to the others in the Malecon, so we decided not to enter... (we thought an empty restaurant is not a good sign) On Sunday we went again to the Malecon looking for a restaurant and there were 3 persons in this restaurant, we checked the menu and decided to try. Since our arrival the owner, and old Man, was very friendly and explained us every detail of the menu. We followed his recommandations and were really surprised for the quality and freshness of the food. The best food we have eaten in Iquitos during the 3 days we expended there, we wanted to continue enjoying the good situation and asked for a dessert but unfortunately the waiter told us they dont have. So we went to the ice cream shop not far from there. We hardly recommend this restaurant, service and food are excellent and not think because is empty is not good."

"Nice place to enjoy some drinks at the Malecon. The staff is very friendly and efficient and they serve the drinks ice chilled what is very appreciated in this humid heat! Prices were ok for the location. Music seems to be mixed, not bad playlist....Would come again."
