"I hesitate to make an assessment because this is a local treasure. The food is absolutely delicious. They use local seafood and products. It seems that everyone on the island knows about this place and I would hate to see that it is crowded. On the other hand, I want them to be successful. They sell local crafts in the same room as the food. If you're a niche cracker barrel, just with much better food, that's it. Many low country specialties are available. At noon there is a selection of about thirty pages and I never had one that was not great. I love this place."

"The Texan fajitas were really good and the service was pretty good considering it was during the covid and 2021 isn't the best year so far but if you like a good place to go grab a bite to eat and a quiet friendly service go to this place it's pretty cool take somebody with you because I went alone and it wasn't fun"

"The cheese curds were such a delicious start to our meals at this small, low-key restaurant. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing with the best sauce on it. We tried the hand cut fries which were seasoned perfectly and the mac and cheese had thatgreat southern thickness and taste. Our server was excellent and made sure our drinks were always full. The extra 20% they addto the bill for the kitchen staff is no big deal because the prices are LOW and the portions are very fair. We will definitelycome back next time we?re in South Carolina!"

"This place has slowly become my favorite place to eat on the island. Literally everything is good, and they make easily one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I have ever had. The chicken is brined, and all the sauces are made in house. The burgers arealso next level! I really hope they add the pimento bacon burger as a full time menu item. That is a legendary burger!"

"As a first time guest, I had no idea what a treat I was in for. The halibut was absolutely divine! The rice and beurre blanc sauce blew my tastebuds out of this world! Be prepared to enjoy layers of flavor in every bite. The spinach melts in your mouth. The host/owner and wait staff were attentive and polite. The only negative was the mosquitoes on the patio, but the atmosphere was worth the nuisance and as soon as I mentioned them, the server brought out non aromatic repellant. We will return again and again."
