"When you visit Coastal Southern Georgia, this is a great place to stop. A bit from the beaten route in Kingsland, this place has been around since the 1940s. We stay a few miles away and prefer local instead of chain restaurants during the trip. Steffen is not disappointed! My husband likes some southern food I don't, and the opposite is true. So he had his fried gizzards, and I had my fried green tomatoes. There are also beautiful salads that are served all day for breakfast. REAL BUTTER AND HALF-N-HALF on every table. Desserts are all house made, and we took a large piece of strawberry cake back to the warehouse where we shared it. It was delicious!"

"We love the Lunch Box! It is our favorite Sunday lunch spot! Every Sunday on our way to church our girls ask can we go to the Lunch Box today? Our answer is always if we can get a parking spot! Is is so good it fills up fast. It is an extra good day if we hit it just right and can get a table!"
