"Highly misleading website that announces a meat dinner night on the “29th of every month” and explicitly mentions “29 December”. At the restaurant they then say that they don’t have it in December and that the website is mistaken... it’s their own website... that’s just misleading clients. On top what is realy bothersome is the rather clumsy attempt by the chef to upsell in the middle of the meal to a rice upgrade. Unlike other places no explanations are given about the beef, quality, grade, etc. or what to best eat or pair it with. The wine list with three whites and three reds is also rather limited. We had asked the concierge at ANA Crown Plaza for Kobe Beef restaurant recommendations and they recommended their own restaurants as being one of the best in Kobe and their only recommendation. All in all, not a good experience and sad for the fine quality beef, which deserves better service quality."
