"In several nobuses this was the most disappointing in terms of food quality. If you stay in four seasons, I would recommend One Forty more if you are simply looking for a better preparation and are not suspended in Japanese cooking. The menu was missing the wagyu gyoza and takumi wagyu Slider as their boss who prepared that it was not here for the last few months (if this is the case, I recommend removing the dishes from the menu to not disappoint customers). We ordered the mushroom soup, which was basically mushrooms in hot water (try at One Forty, which is creamier and tastier) The sushi was mixed, we liked the scallops, and the university did not taste the Otoro fresh, and the fat content was more of a chu toro. The best part of the menu was the A5 miyazaki wagyu, who was more the ingredient than the cooking skills so hard to evaluate the restaurant on this. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience compared to the Nobu in Malibu, or any high-end sushi restaurant or Japanese restaurant on the Hawaiian islands. We decided to finish our meal early and instead eat up, as there was nothing good coming out."

"Over decades of global travel, my family and I never have to the level of disregard and, honestly, abuse that we face when trying to eat here. The way we were treated by several employees was stunning and totally unacceptable. It's not a country club. This is a hotel on an island that the FS Lanai likes to do as if it were a steward for. If she wants to be a steward on the island, should she change her absurd exclusion? Do you want to increase non-guests who want to eat here? policy (sweet? not all want to stay on Lanai, but many people want to visit). Shocking and embarrassing reflection on Four Seasons?"
