"First time and very pleased with service and quality of food. We ate at 4pm prior to visiting the adjacent cinema. I think we definitely picked a good time as we were served quickly and without fuss. There was a good selection on the menu and there was also a specials menu that was available until 6 pm. I had a sirloin steak, which was excellently cooked and reasonably priced at £22. My parents had fish and chips, and a sizzling chicken dish. They were both pleased with their orders. Including drinks, the bill for 3 came to approximately £64, which I thought was pretty reasonable, considering the size of the servings. The drinks were expensive, approximately £5 for a small bottle of lager, but that tends to be the going rate these days. This was my first visit, so I don’t know how it compares to busier periods, however I had a pleasant experience."

"We usually get out of this chippy on a Sunday for the family .The food is really nice and prices are reasonable. The spicey chicken breast is lovely and recommended. The staff are friendly and the chippy is very clean and presentable."
