"Découvert au hasard de nos déambulations dans le Puy-en-Velay, le Maki Nova est devenu dès notre première visite notre restaurant préféré ! Avis aux amateurs de sushis : vous ne pourrez plus vous en passer :) Plus qu'un restaurant, c'est une expérience complète qui vous est proposée : un cuisinier passionné qui sélectionne ses produits avec exigence et amour du travail bien fait, une dégustation de poissons frais mêlant cuisine japonaise et saveurs auvergnates, une super carte de vins pour accompagner ces mets, une ambiance musicale de très grande qualité, et une salle cosy avec un serveur aux petits soins... "Bof bof ... Rien d'exceptionnel pour les plats.Le seul avantage : le prix des cocktails. Pour 5€, les mojitos et Cuba libre sont très bons. MAIS les plats ne sont pas exceptionnels. C'est dommage, en première impression, il y a peu de plats sur la carte, on s'attend donc à avoir des produits frais ! Et bien non, en tout cas, éviter les 2 plats à base de poissons, bien que ce soit servis que le weekend, ça sort du congélateur !"

"So... We tried to avoid tourist catches, and we stopped here by chance. Well, we went back twice! For a lyonnais amateur of good chair, this restaurant has everything of a real cork, few tables, capesque decoration, but above all copied dishes, quality home cuisine, typical and interesting dishes, good bottles of wine. Home mistresses who will make you love this place, if you love humour without laughing and chamailing. The atmosphere is warm, we talk to the neighbors. For me it's a wonderful place with beautiful people. Long live artists!"

"I am surprised that this restaurant is not at number one or two on this list on a recent 10 day trip to Le Puy we ate in many restaurants and Comme a la Maison was without question one of the best. Classical, seasonal...ingredients cooked to perfection took centre stage and each dish had an imaginative, contemporary twist. In terms of quality, my main of fish on cocoa beans easily equaled that which enjoyed in the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo seriously. This kitchen knows how to cook and the price of 30 Euros for 3 courses is excellent value. If you visit, do not hesitate to eat here. Note to owner please turn the lighting down a little to create a better atmosphere! Candles in such a beautiful old room would enhance the experience."
