"I've been to this restaurant for 4 times at least, and it's still great value for money. It serves traditional Savoie cuisine in a very intimate hall, with few tables.Food: quality of food is excellent, portions are very generous (and if you want some more, you just ask and they'll bring it!). You can have more traditional alpine dishes (Tartiflette, Raclette, Fondue, etc.) but also simpler meat &salad dishes. My favourite is by far the pierrade: you are given your own electric cooker and raw meat (of lamb, beef and goose) and you make your own steaks the way you want. This is accompanied by potatoes, sauces, mushrooms salad and other vegetables.Desserts and wine selection very good as well. The owner is extremely friendly and will offer you a selection of Italian liquors at the end of the dinner.Also, the restaurant is also a pizza take-away (I think is one of the very few with a real oven).Definitely worth it"

"I was very pleased with the La Trabla restaurant at the Hotel La Chemenaz. Located in the hotel's ground floor, the restaurant was very convenient to two tired travelers. The decor is cofortable and casual, but very welcoming. I can't remember whatI ordered that evening, but I do remember that I was happy with my selection and that I found the meal very tasty. Service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I'd recommend the La Trable for dining anytime you are in the area even if not staying at the Hotel La Chemenaz."

"Very good meal, we took two tartiflettes and they are served with a slice of charcuterie next to it, excellent. wine was very good too, served at good temperature. The waiter offered us the genepi to finish. Very well"
