"My fiancée and I ate here recently dinner and it was the best culinary experience we had in France. We arrived quite late, but were warmly welcomed by the waiter. We had both pizzas and not only was it delicious, but also very expensive. The waiter spoke great English, German and French, which was great as I am Australian and my engagement is German and we try to speak a little French (although bad), so that he had covered all bases. When we left, I left my bag behind with cards, cash and passport. These absolute legends contacted me on Facebook within half an hour and I could get it back to save me a lot of trouble. I am very grateful for her honesty. My rating is not biased because it was simply the icing on the cake of an already ingenious culinary experience. I can't recommend it very much. 10 of 10"

"An unplanned trip to Lion-sur-Mer and the sea food restaurant around the corner being full ended up with us eating here, so we arrived without expectations. Boy, am I pleased we did. A lovely little restaurant, friendly staff, and probably the most delicious pizza I...ate this year which included several days in Naples! Huge pizzas, perfect dough, and the fresh tomato topping (with extra chorizo) was amazing. Simple, refreshing, fantastic."

"Typical of the hungry wanderers, imagining the perceived typical village cafe, unfortunately now seeming like a long ago memory, and getting to the stage of lets go in here.Nice greeting and shown to a table by the waitress, orders given drinks enjoyed and food served. Spot on really. Galettes were fresh and substantial, prices reasonable, and staff and owner welcoming, all very pleasant for passing travellers on route to where ever."

"Ok food but not cheap, lovely location. We had the foie gras with those toast things like you get in ikea and then fish and chips fish looked and tasted like it was frozen which was a shame as we were on the sea front and expected fresh for the price. My son’s pasta with cockles was ok. A bit bland. His onion rings were also ok. So it was 100 euros for that and two super small glasses of wine and a fruit juice. The view was lovely but for our last night in France the food was really disappointing."

"We were taking the afternoon ferry back from Ouistreham and took the bus to Lion planning to walk back after lunch. So pleased we did. This place has a menu of the day at 13.50 Euro which seemed good but we fancied something more for...our final meal and went for 21 Euro menu. My wife had mussels as starter and I had an outstanding seafood platter with 15 morsels it was all so fresh and lovely. As main course, my wife had steak and I had pigs’ kidneys in a mustard sauce. For dessert my wife had cheese and I had creme brûlée. We ate outside. All was excellent"
