"We like our fish, so a visit to the Forellenhof to taste their trout was inevitable. Even so, we were very pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the fish and the warmth of the service. Lucretia (yes, that's really her name) greeted us with...a handshake, educated us during dinner about the finer points of eating trout (did you know that the cheeks are possibly the finest parts and surprised us with a warm embrace when we got ready to leave. She is really wonderful! As to the food, it's as fresh as you can get it. We had crab cocktail and smoked trout for starters, and baked zander and trout as our main courses. It was all equally fresh and tasty. Though I must admit, the German habit of serving excellent wine in glasses may have helped somewhat. "
