"One of the best tasting menus I've had. Took my daughter her sweetie to Ambiance for her 27th birthday. It was their 1st dining experience at this level, and my 40th or so Manresa, French Laundry, Elizabeth Daniel, Louis Catorze in Monte Carlo Michelin 3 star, black truffle intensive , Le Crocodile, etc. The experience could not have been better. Excellent service, exquisite flavors and presentation, superb wine pairings, and most important, excellent pacing and portion sizes. Nothing, to me, is quite as annoying as paying $1200 for a 13 course tasting menu and being stuffed before the 1st game dish. At Ambience we had 3 terrific amuse bouches The standout being #3, the Coos Bay oyster in some terrific reduction and liquid N2 , followed by 13 courses plus a chef's freebie, a terrific blue fin tuna tartare with flying fish roe frizzled leak , paired with their premium wine pairing $165/per person for the pairing, and SO worth it! , and when we finished the final terrific dessert course paired with a dessert Sauterne, followed by espresso, we were all 3 sated but not overfull/stuffed. Kudos! Who knew that Los Altos had a restaurant if this quality? Highly recommended. See pics, menu to follow The 1st 3 preceded the 1st course amuse bouches."

"This is is my absolute favorite Bay Area restaurant! This is our go to for date night, and is also good for small groups. The service is is excellent and the ambiance is a perfect combination of warmth and upscale comfort. I've had most of the dishes they never disappoint. My favorites are the dip duo, salmon, chicken and rib platter, and emerald kale salad. The pomme puree, broccoli, cornbread, and artichokes are also delicious. The margarita is refreshing, and the wine selection is great. I love having their strong espresso with dessert. The ice cream sundae is always fun, and the oreo cookie ice cream I tried most recently was divine."

"By far the most expensive grocery store in the area, with high quality vegetables. Her deli seems to get rid of most of her vegetarian and vegan options over time. You can find all the same things on Safeway over the street for much cheaper (or trader Joe also over the street, or the Sprouts, etc.)."

"This is one of our favorite quarters. it never disappoints. the older man who sits us is creepy jovial and has a warm smile. eating is well plated, glasses clean, and all we have tried on the wine list is perfect. we generally ordered the otopus, grilled salmon and paella, but tried the pasta and was pleasantly surprised. we avoid being very difficult even without being buried in cheese, but to our surprise the ragu was surprisingly light and we could finish it (also an surprise, even with michelin stars Italian restaurants here we left the half on our tellers)."

"This has been our go-to restaurant since the beginning of quarantine in 2020. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the Bay Area! We have gotten take-out so many times and have only recently dined in twice! Their food is consistently top quality and tastes absolutely amazing. My partner and I's favorite dishes here are the Hunan style sautéed lamb and the pan-seared rack of lamb with cumin. We have never not ordered the Hunan style sautéed lamb and we never will not order it. As long as we go to Noodle Talk, this lamb must be ordered. It is so spicy, delicious, and gamey. If you want extra gamey lamb, go for the pan-seared rack. Oh my goodness, these dishes are heavenly. If you like hot and sour pig intestines noodle, this is the restaurant to order from. They have the best hot and sour pig intestines noodle in the area. The intestines are so tender and juicy. The soup is spicy and so wonderfully sour. Their noodles are fresh, bouncy, and chewy. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything here. We have ordered so many different meat, vegetable, noodle, rice, and so on, dishes. Everything has been amazing."

"Wow, a surprisingly good quality Japanese restaurant tucked away on a main street. Lovely waitresses, private and intimate setting. Beef teriyaki was tender, dumplings tasted homemade, rice had a nice consistency. Fresh sushi and ample portions. Nice bits of pickled radish sides and succulent orange slice. This feels like an all around reliable and consistently good place that draws loyal customers back."

"When we get there, person in front did not ask us if we have reservation or not, just look at us and said, two, I replied yes. She took us on the backside of the restaurant and show us a table next to restroom. The restaurant was almost empty on Friday night. We sat there and told her that we had reservations and mentioned my name. She replied okay, I will check out you name that you are here. Another waiter came and saw that we were disappointed and ask us if we want to move to main dinning room. We said yes and he took us to the main room that few tables were occupied. Our waiter was nice but seems did not had that much experience in restaurant. Out bread came much later to the table. Food was okay but not extra ordinary. Table next to us was a family that the man was talking very loud on his cell phone for quite a while. Overall was okay but not for date night or excellent food."
