"As the saying goes..everthing good never lasts forever..though I hope it is not so with this restaurant.I have been coming here as a kid for the last 40 odd years that I can remember of and always enjoyed myself with the snacks that were available. The croquettes that they make are something out or this world though on this occasion is was not at all the way it is supposed to be.As a kid I used to enjoy having my falooda here and now of course my kids do the same.The other snacks that you get at the usual like potato chops,Egg chops,Prawns risoe,Patties.There is also lunch available though I have never tried that out ever.So all in all if you are tired after all the shopping in the busy Mapusa market and need to sip on some chilled beer with snacks this place is ideal.And when I say snacks I do not mean Dhokla,Samosa or masala dosa...if you need those look elsewhere ... don't spoil the last of these good goan restaurants."

"This restaurant has been located at this site for quite a long time but has recently undergone some good changes. Painted in all white the ambience is simple but yet strikes the eye. The couple that runs this place are genuinely helpful and friendly. They have quite a vast menu and the charcoaled stuff is pretty appetising. Curries both in chicken and mutton are very well prepared. Rotis are delicious. They have now started a Goan 13 course lunch buffet priced below Rs 300 per head. A well stocked bar as per Goan standards. A place worth visiting."

"The only thing this hotel was clean is the reception area. the beds and the room were a catastrophe, some of the workers could do with a shower. the staff was polite and I quickly pulled out."

"We landed up in Mapusa after driving aimlessly one monsoon afternoon on 20 Jun '13. Most amazing local stuff served up. I cannot say if it was authentic Goan cuisine but it was very appetizing and we did try quite a few of the Chicken...dishes. Value for money is very good. A must visit place to all who reach Mapusa."

"Not for tourists who are in goa for a relaxed time with good environment and eating. we went there, it's like a basic kantine that is not well maintained. I could compromise because I experienced amazing eating with fast and moving service. unfortunately we waited for 15 minutes to get someone to clean a used table and order another 15 minutes for someone to come and order. 5-7 minutes after ordering, we were told that they did not crawl! you go to a seafood place to eat seafood. we left the place. While we did not taste the food, I will not recommend this place if they believe that enjoying food contains a good service and good people."
