"Cafe Angelo and his wife Claudia shared their love of basic Argentinian cuisine with us in the privacy of their home. Angelo explained the culture of open fire cooking, the techniques of building perfect fire, and tending the fire while cooking typical cuts of Argentine beef, pork and sausages. We made empanadas and chimichuri, sampled local wines, cheeses, olives and bread, and enjoyed the company of a couple who were gracious hosts and provided an enormously enjoyable evening. This was a fun evening, and a great break from daily wine inbibing. Thanks Angelo and Claudia"

"Fuimos especialmente recomendados para ir, realmente el ambiente es muy cálido, un entorno muy bonito, sobre todo en una tarde de sol.El menú es exquisito, aunque para mí un poco caro ($280 sin bebidas), más si uno va con niños. En sí el plato no es abundante porque la trucha es pequeña, pero deliciosa,como los entrantes y los postres. El vino sugerido, Jean Rivier, muy agradable.La sala no tenía aire acondicionado -sí ventilador-, y estando junto a una ventana soleada es algo incómodo, y podrían tener tarjetas. Allí se dificulta bastante por la señal de internet, es bastante limitada.Una experiencia necesaria en Malargüe"

"My wife and I decided we would like something a bit lighter than the big steak meals we had being having. My wife had a lovely warm salad with mushrooms and langoustines wrapped with bacon. I had a Mediterranean salad, almost a salad nicoise , with calamari. All these dishes were prepared very well, and we had a very nice and well priced Pinot Noir to compliment the dishes. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience. We liked the small rustic restaurant atmosphere and the personal service."

"We stayed in Mendoza for days, and this was our favorite restaurant. We even came for a second meal. Our server (who I think is also be the owner and/or chef) was fabulous, so nice and welcoming, giving the restaurant a very personal touch....The food was also fantastic. I especially loved the veggie lasagna. If I ever make it back to Mendoza, I’ll certainly go back."

"I loved this place. The owner is terrific and the wait staff nice. Service is "typical Argentina style-slow" but no worse than everywhere else. The pasta, fish, and steaks were good. It is very close to the Hyatt and Plaza Independence. The pizza was average for South America. Ate here 4 times and enjoyed a variety of excellent wines. Sat on the patio and watched the world go by.Prices were reasonable. Suggest you give it a try."
