"We arrived on a busy Saturday night and sat at a table that had just been vacated. It took almost half an hour to get the table cleared (by a young busser with attitude) and to order a beer, which took another ten minutes to...come. After we ordered a burger and wings we waited over an hour, and then were told that the server had forgotten to put in the order and now the kitchen was closed. We ended up with a salad, which was pretty good, and a plate of nachos, which was not. To be fair, the server was celebrating her birthday, which must have been somewhat distracting. She was superficially apologetic (and comped us for what we did get) but never came back to see if we needed anything else. In fact, she seemed more interested in partying with the regulars than in actually doing her job. In the end it took us two hours to have one beer and food that wasn't what we ordered. Bottom line: Stay away from this place. Apparently this is not a serious business: It's a social club for friends of the staff."

"Went for a drive to Merrickville on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We were feeling a little hungry and wanted a quick bite, so we decided to stop for some fries and an ice cream. Wasn't expecting much, just the usual standard chip truck fries. But were we surprised. Fresh hand cut fries and fresh battered cod made to order, what more can you ask for! Except that it's also reasonable priced...$12.50 for 2 pieces plus a mountain of golden fries. Wish I took a picture to share with everyone...guess you will have to go and experience this one yourselves. They are located right on the main street amongst all the little quaint shops."
