"Another nice Miller and Carter restaurant with very nice food and atmosphere. The service was ok, the staff very friendly but 2 things were missing when the order was served so they needed to be reminded. Not a huge problem and everything was easily resolved."

"Visited the Alex for our weekly Sunday roast. The roast was good. The staff behind the bar were really friendly. I would have rated it 4/5 stars however the only thing letting it down was the gap between the starter and main course (roughly 45 mins)."

"Only our first takeaway from Whistlestop got so much oil it dripping everywhere had to use kitchen roll to mop it and many leaves. Bones in the fish really disappointing maybe it's better if you eat, but we won't... order from there again."
