"Returned to the Royal after a gap of some years for lunch. Extensive menu of choices at reasonable prices. Asked for extra spicy pasta arrabiatta which was excellent followed by chocolate brownie. Service was attentive and will now be returning on a more regular basis."

"We only discovered this restaurant by chance, we were at Dobbies and the cafe there was full. Elginhaugh is rìght over the road so we went there, that was in May, we loved it so much we have been every week since. The staff are amazing, the food has a wide and varied choice. We have never had a bad meal here, EVER!"

"We found the menu a little challenging. rabbit satay. guinea fowl...cheese soufflé. there was a selection of expensive steaks for selection and the usual burger or fish chips. the dinner was very fast. an hour max from the arrival in the bar to the end! we had only one main piece. the fish was very fat, the steak was good, but expensive for what it was. only the customers wore masks, not a coworker was seen to wear at any point during our visit, although it was still necessary at the moment in Scotland. nothing that unfortunately comes back to us"

"Excellent food and service. We have been visiting Edinburgh for the last 16 years and found this restaurant about 4 years ago. We always stay at the Premier Inn here primarily for the food and service we always receive at Esk Valley Table Table. The food is always well cooked and hot. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our Edinburgh family always join us for dinner as the menu choices are excellent and you just can't beat the food."

"Amazing eating and the perfect sequence to visit the rosslyn capsule. go before an appetit, as the portions are very generous. we had the smoked laughs and the chicken paws as our appetizers and followed that with the steak pee and the steak and tumble sandwich for our net (many circumcisions also everything was perfectly cooked, especially the steak, not complain at all. service was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm sorry, no photos, we attacked eating as soon as it arrived."
