"The Monberg itself is something special, you have to admit it. Before the Monberg is a wide area for parking, so there are no problems here. Unfortunately, on wet days it can become a bit muddy as this area is mostly not concreted. If you climb the endlessly acting stairs, there is on the right side a kind of chill lounge with sand and deck chairs, on the left side a kind of beer garden with a large indoor area. I haven't eaten there yet. The drinks are average. Musically both areas are unfortunately nothing for me. Although the idea behind the Monberg is already cool, the location of the management is less convincing. It is very large overall and seems to focus on quantity rather than on quality. Nevertheless, it is worth going there, for example, if you take someone who doesn't know the Monberg yet. That's why it's okay."

"Mit einem Groupon-Gutschein wollten wir uns einen schönen Abend machen, gerne auch großzügig dazu bestellen. Uns wurde nicht einmal eine Getränkekarte gereicht, wurden mega unfreundlich bedient und das Essen hatte Kantinenqualität. Eine Unverschämtheit! Warum beteiligt sich das Lokal an solchen Aktionen? Um neue Kunden zu gewinnen? Lachnummer! Nie wieder!"

"After a tireless walk around the beautiful city of Düsseldorf, we happened across Raphael's with the intention of resting our weary feet over a delightful Altbier. Forgivably the bier we received was a little warm and tasted quite peculiar. However, upon asking for the bill, the opportunistic barman took advantage of our new tourist status in a strange city, and charged us nearly €6 each! We even tipped the deviant!! It was only later upon buying our second bier elsewhere that we realised we had been had. Lowest rating therefore applicable"

Many of my clients ask if we could go to dinner again. what you want. fresh fish dishes by choice, morning on board, a good bottle of wine in a discreet atmosphere. so it can be done. My mother-in-law also liked to celebrate 70 here. in her ristorant in white ."

"My friend & I came here after work recently to sample some real Thai food in typical small town Rheinland Germany. Having negotiated the back streets to avoid all the lantern parading school kiddies on their St Martin's Day procession I parked right out side the restaurant in the pedestrian zone. The service was friendly and the whole Thai atmosphere inside was very authentic in our opinion. Our Thai waitress spoke both German and English and was polite & helpful in assisting us in choosing from the extensive menu. We decide to share the house "Hors d'Oeuvre" and "Lab Gai", a very spicy salad of chopped chicken and Thai spices. A real hot lips stimulator. For the main course we chose the green fish and red chicken Thai curries with rice. Excellent choices. There was so much that I asked for a doggy bag at the end of the meal. For dessert we shared taro balls and bananas in sweet coconut rice.That particular evening was cold, wet & dreary so we almost had the whole place to ourselves. We were really made to feel welcome & I look forward to returning again soon."
