"While on vacation my husband was wanting a steak dinner. We arrived round 7pm on a Thursday night. Blackbeard's offers complimentary valet, which was nice. There was no wait and were immediately seated at a booth. The restaurant was fairly full and the tables were a little close together. Our waitress quickly brought us a bucket of really good rolls, cinnamon rolls with real butter and got our drinks for us. My husband and I both ordered the New York Strip $25.95 for a 14 ounce steak, salad bar and side. The salad bar was not extensive, kind of old school, but very good. The steak was delicious and huge! My husband got fries for his side dish and I got the baked potato. Usually I consider both of these as throw away items, but my potato was hot and freshly baked. My husband's fries were also crispy a freshly cooked. Very enjoyable meal."

"They did nof honor reservation. Put us on wait list. Said would be 30 minutes or longer. They stated they don't honor 3rd party reservations. I also called the restaurant earlier in day to confirm table reservation and preferred seating. Was told found reservstion and confirmed. We arrived 10 minutes early and was told we would have to wait. We are locals and will never go again to this place. Somewhat rude and arrogant. Too many other good restaurants in area to screw with this place. We have had breakfast and lunch there and thought we would try dinner to see if dinner menu was better. Breakfast and lunch nothing exceptional. Food was okay I question why Open Table would confirm a reservation when the restaurant stated they don't honor 3rd party reservation! Is that screwed up!"
