"We were here with a voucher from our hotel which was part of an extremely economical package deal. It wouldn´t be fair, therefore, to expect top-notch. We got boursin cheese rolled in ham with green salad, lamb roast with beans and roast potato, two cheeses and a vacherin glacé, all of which was adequate but unremarkable except the vacherin which included ice cream that had obviously just been taken from a freezer set at one kelvin, whipped cream from a pressurized can and no meringue. Well, as I said--you can't have it cheap and eat it rich. The food on some of the adjacent tables gave me the impression they could probably do somewhat better. The wine we ordered with our food, a pitcher of straightforward pinot noir rosé, was decidedly overpriced, though."

"We came to Niederbronn-les-Bains for the weekend. We had reserved a table in this restaurant, which I recommend. The dishes were wonderful. The staff very welcoming and friendly. "The service was top notch, the kitchen very good but big problem with the release of the meal dishes served 45 minutes after the order, some tables the dishes were cold. A table of eight next to us after 1 o'clock we served them 4 dishes first then they had ordered 4 rump steaks but out of stock we offered them sirloins after 20 minutes we told them that they didn't have any more after 1h30 they had poultry. Too bad for the room staff who blame the poor functioning of the kitchen. Small advice can be to reduce the number of reservations... on the other hand a table of two apparently known in 35 minutes starter, main course and dessert served in 30 minutes. Congratulations to the room staff for their kindness and diplomacy."
