"Here for free day sunset picnic. local barra 11.50 per piece. was delicious, the fish was crispy and the chips crispy, but two small things: for almost 30 for 2 pieces fish and a small chips I would have expected some free lemon slices and they only take cash that is not only annoying, but in my eyes a bit dodgy."

"Based on other reviews we went to Northcliff beach for fish and chips and the sunset. We were not disappointed. The sunset was spectacular over the water, which we could watch from the grassy picnic sites on the cliffs or the long jetty, and the fish and chips were delicious with a light crunchy batter. Good value at $50 for a family of 5."

"I had memories of this place because it was the first Thai RESTAURANT in Darwin. The food, i remembered, is as good as it was. And it had no music blaring. Nothing. It is a wonderful place to be intimate. You can hear each other's whispers. The food is better and service is complementary. A great restaurant to be."

"Three friends dining. Really enjoyed the cocktails. Table service took a long time. I noticed people who were seated after us had orders taken before us. We waited almost an hour from being seated to having our meal. I didn't mind the wait but the...fact my meal arrived cold as in the steak was cold and half the fries were cold. I was not asked if I enjoyed my meal if so I would have given feedback. The menu overall seems confused. It is a Sri Lankan restaurant that serves steak and lamb shanks? We probably won't return."

"I went here with a mate and wasn't disappointed. Has a schnitzel with chips, salad and gravy. Friends tell me the steak nights are also good value. Occasionally you want some good pub grub and this is the place. Cheap beers and good atmosphere to boot."
