"Despite booking over a month in advance they had no table ready for us. we had to sit in the buffet area, surrounded by solid, while 5 different waiters came to us and asked if we had the buffet. it should be a good meal for a birthday of friends. extremely disappointing"

"Great place to eat and a beautiful atmosphere too. nick the guy who creates it was really attentive and friendly. I hope that the business for them will come back very soon after the influence of covid. they deserve to do well and are sure to catch a lot on the great food they serve. had whitebait starter and it was perfect. really well cooked and presented. then we both had the special kebab. Actually, it was huge, but delicious. great portions and chips were delicious. even if I was so full, I couldn't resist. one of the best I ever had. we will definitely go back. eat great, service great and ambiente really pleasant. thanks for a nice experience."

"We have been regulars at the beehive for a number of years and always found both the staff and food to be good, yesterday’s visit resulted in us having a poor experience of both, my other half ordered cottage pie which when he dished up...the contents onto his plate was swimming in water, pale, flavourless and quite frankly looked awful, he complained to the staff and asked for it to be taken off the bill refusing anything else, the young man serving us dealt with this well. disappointingly the owner then came across and did not deal with us well at all. we assumed she was going to apologise and at least offer a free drink as there is nothing worse than one person not eating whilst the rest are finishing a now awkward birthday meal. The owner did not want to listen to his opinion and instead said it was one of her best sellers and walked away from us. This could have been dealt with much better by her, we will not be returning."
