"We had a great experience here, attentive and accommodating service, we were seated in the ideal dining room, the food and portions were all decent. Wasn't planning specifically on getting winterlicious, but we all found things we liked on that menu, so that worked out. Altogether a good chice of restaurants, I would not hesitate to go back, and in fact would recommend it."

"The food was excellent and the service was very good. It’s great place to go after work for a few cocktails and to socialize. Believe me when I say, if you haven’t been you are definitely missing out. I recommend the pizza, you won’t be disappointed."

"Excellent, informative and considerate service from Rachel at the bar. Joey’s creamy mushroom soup is the best we’ve ever tasted (actually had large mushroom pieces in it); the garden salads were fresh and crispy; and the garlic wedges were surprisingly better than we thought they’d be. Sure, $140 with a 20% tip, but worth every cent. Thanks Rachel for the great service!"

"First time visiting today, I have never visited a restaurant that makes you feel like home like High Street Fish Chips. Sharon and the staff were so welcoming. Paul and the kitchen staff provided a SUPERB haddock (I understand why they call it the Superb Haddock Fillet now). First time, definitely not my last and I was treated like I was a regular. Thank you High Street Fish Chips for a wonderful lunch today."

"This is actually a 4.5*. Excellent place for a cozy and relaxing dinner. Had their signature lamb burger and pint of organic beer. Lamb burger was simply superb, on Wednesdays they have all burgers for 11$. Overall a nice place to have fun with friends and a good meal."

"While living in Toronto, this was my favourite Mandarin location, due to its proximity to the Sherway Gardens shopping centre. During my last visit in October 2014, my friends and I got to sample many of the items on the menu, such as the Pepper Shrimp and the items they had out for the Moon Festival. The only downside to our visit was that we arrived later in the evening, and the buffet was winding down shortly after we sat down. <br/ <br/ That said, my favourite items are the beef ribs and the creme brulee dessert cups, both of which I think are only on the dinner menu. The Western and Chinese-Canadian food mixed together was good for me, although I highly recommend calling ahead with reservations regardless of when you go. <br/ <br/ The ambiance is good, although it depends on who else may be sitting next to you. Generally, the staff in my experience have been very friendly, and always great people as they walk in."
