"My friend always talked about this restaurant, so he finally took me and it was so good!!! He recommended the beams Tostada, which is amazing!! You couldn't get the chips and salsa fast enough, it was some of the best salsa I had!"

"The second best pozole next to my mom?s. Very impressive dishes BUT the beans and rice were terrible. This is why a 4 star rating. The beans and rice are essentials ? a Mexican food joint has to have the beans and rice down steady. Modelo especial and dos xx on tap. Excellent and friendly service and very clean bathrooms!"

"This was our third time at Rickenbackers this year and every time was a winner! The New Years Eve dinner was incredible! The choices of each course made it hard to decide. My husband's scallops rockefeller appetizer was to die for! I had the crab cakes, and the pickled onion and sauce really made the dish! Our main courses were perfect: prime rib with the BEST creamed spinach, and chicken piccata. Both cooked perfectly. My husband had the vanilla creme brule for dessert, which he loved and I had the flourless chocolate torte with whipped peanut butter and banana. It couldn't have been a better dessert; the banana was actually glazed with a brule like topping and a little warm which made this the perfect ending to our meal. The value was great, and the service was excellent! I can't remember our server's name, but she did incredible job with her friendly demeanor and helping us make our choices by telling us her experience while sampling the food earlier. She was super helpful and fast! I would definitely recommend this place and we can't wait to go back!"
