"We have had meals here several times and have always had a great meal but not this time! We had a special dinner planned as a surprise for my sister and her new husband so we picked Ceders. The soup of the day was a Manhattan clam chowder but what was served was a tomato broth with a few tiny pieces of something. Chowders are at least supposed to have some veggies. When we said something to our server he said yeah a lot of the time it comes like that. My sister and I were served cold ribs which they took back and warmed up, but when we did get hot ribs they were tough and dry. They did take the cost of the ribs off our bill. But by the time the ribs came back inedible everyone else was done so we had a ceaser side salad for supper. Overall we were very disappointed with the food. Maybe it was because it was a Sunday night and not very busy but we'll think twice about going back there. Unfortunately it appears the food quality at casino Rama appears to be going downhill as the new buffet isn't as good as it used to be."

"Mariposa Market is one of those places where you can wander in not planning on buying anything in particular, but you end up leaving with something. From their cakes, to freshly made sandwiches and entrees, to the two stores that sell hand soaps to nighties...to books to stuffed animals, it's a great place to shop. The bakery items are amazing and always delicious. And if you just want to pop in for a coffee you can do that as well. Guaranteed good food."

"I only come to this place because this is the only sushi place in town. I come here if there is storm or heavy traffic driving down to Barrie. I wish the owners will have time to visit sushi places in Barrie or Toronto so they would know what their customers are expecting to get. The taste and presentation of their rolls are below average quite frankly. I always drive to Barrie for sushi if possible. I am a Japanese food fanatic so I know which ones are jokes and which ones are not."

"Food is delicious but meat/fish portions are small; homemade buns are only available for dinner and should be available for other meals too but can be bought for $7/dozen to go; need improvement for noise during meals since staff sorting dirty dishes are VERY NOISY"

"From the time you walk in the door there is the feeling of home in the air. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is great and unlike a majority of places we go to the music is at a level where you can still have a conversation without having to yell. BTW if you are a younger person the music is cool jazz so be warned."

"My wife and I both found the restaurant to be extremely cold when we entered and then we were sat directly underneath a cold air vent. We ordered a salad fries and a soup and we had to wait half an hour. Unfortunately when the food did arrive it was subpar at best. We found the waitresses extremely friendly but the atmosphere and the food both disappointing. We stopped going to this restaurant a couple years ago because we thought the food wasn't as good as when it first opened, that seems to have remained the same."

"We were seated as soon as we walked in. Server was pleasant and friendly.We ordered the fried chicken with mushroom gravy and the hot roast beef. Portions were big. Food was amazing. We will definitely be back."
