"Personally this is an amazing discovery. Starting from the name to the ambience everything sounds different and nice. And the food. It’s purely Wow. The bao’s, prawns , Mexican rice , mango dolly all were nicely presented and tasted very good. Though pricey it’s worth everything. Please do visit for the food and the ambience. Weekdays is a good time to come. Weekends it’s a mad rush and one might have to wait for more than an hour for the table. Ciao."

"I've been going to and ordering from this place for more than a year now, and seldom have they ever disappointed me. They specialize in North Indian with decent expertise in other cuisines, but above all their BUTTER CHICKEN is the best I've had in all of Goa, add all that to the highly reasonable pricing and you've found yourself a hidden gem set up with a great season view at Dona Paula, hats off to the chefs and the owners who keep everything consistent, needless to say I'll always be back for more."

"This place is the sweetest romantic place in Candolim. It's right on the main road and the dinner service is lovely. I loved both the Indian and continental fare. You can also choose the catch of the day which is put on display. The best part is that it is quite inexpensive give the quality of food and service you get here compared to the restaurants around it."

"If you happen to be staying in Panjim, then this place is definitely worth a visit. Drop in during the evening for a jazzy atmosphere and live music with a great song selection too!. The food was good, especially the non-vegetarian dishes. There are some must try feni cocktails on the menu as well. The staff was polite and friendly."

"Let's talk about the service first. When we entered only 2 tables were occupied (1 outdoor, 1 indoor). They ask you if you are staying with them and set the standard of service accordingly. When I mentioned that mosquitoes were biting outside they bought an odomos lotion for me. It felt so ridiculous! When we sat indoor they rushed us saying they were closing. The other two tables were being treated better probably because they were staying with them. That was just unexpected and unacceptable at Taj. This was our farewell Goa dinner and this place is not a recommendation for any occasion ever. The food was below average. I got an instant reaction after eating the prawn pomelo salad and I am not allergic to any ingredient in that dish. And my husband vomited due to the overly sour and acidic Tom Yum soup. Never going back to this place. I find it unbelievable that they have been displaying such behaviour for years now after reading other reviews here."
