"Better than ever Mexican restaurant. On a beautiful June night we ate on the outdoor terrace. We've come here occasionally, but we haven't been here for a while because of COVID. All 4 of the use enjoyed our drinks appetizers and entrees. We had delicious and refreshing margaritas and Sangria with our grilled shrimp appetizer (gambas al ajillo. The sauce was particularly delicious. I would recommend all entrees for which we had to taste. The house salad was enormous and filled with meat like salmon. The Lamb / Cordero Jalisco and ribs / Castillas de puerco were tender and juicy. Finally, the combination board allows you to build your own Mexican favorites."

"Do not look for lust, just look for good. most of what on the menu could make you home, but it is better if someone else does it, and they have great comfort eating ' (potuna melt be my go-to; generous creature thunfisch on a fluffy hot baked kartoffel with a piece good ol american cheese). there are some must-haves, including the chocolate shake and the cream of the broccoli suppe. Do not try to buy enough suppe they cannot. a cup is full, but you want more. my wife and I just broke a quarter that's too much, and we want more. it's just good. the prices are very reasonable, eating is always what they expect or better, the new(ish) owners are at least as friendly and efficient as the mother"

"Pros: Pickle bar is a nice touch, sandwiches are huge, bread is fresh. Cons: NYC pricing $20 for a sandwich and side, $4 extra to substitute fries), food is decent but not great. The brisket was very tender and lean but not very flavorful. The corned beef was tasty and also fairly lean. Potato salad is mediocre, potato pancake was too thick, making it pasty in the center. The pickles were all good except the half sour, which just tasted like a mildly salted"
