"Second and final chance for this place - fail. Walked in near end of happy hour one large table full of empty dishes and one table in dark corner. We sit at the larger open table with the dishes and are reprimanded and told there are ladies sitting there . Ok so we sit in the corner. At least it's one of the few low tables in the place most are high tables. Next 3 guys come I. And sit at the same table. They wait 10 minutes to be acknowledepged and then too are told that the table,is occupied. It's now been 15 minutes since we came in and no one has come back to that table. No one ever came back and the table sat empty the entire time we were there. They decide to leave and go to Samz- wish we had. Rest of clientele is after work trades people and day labourers from the nearby temp agency. Plus regulars who get preferential treatment. Get in one happy hour drink(beer is Pabst blue ribbon- in a can!). Classy. House draft beer was skunky. Ask waitress regular price of a highball after happy hour. She has no clue and leaves on a 15 minute excursion to find out. Well trained. I go to bathroom. One of the two stalls has a completely busted deadbolt with the wood broken. Classy. We still decided to try the food against our better judgement. Breakfast for dinner at the pub? Yes please! And only $6 - wow! It's at least $10 or more at ihop. Sadly the Burke breakfast is actually the Burke 1/2 breakfast. Ok you get two eggs but they were so undercooked most of the white was runny and the yolk was barely warm- inedible and probably dangerous. You also only get 2 pieces of bacon, a few tablespoons of hashbrowns and one small end of sourdough toast. So it's actually the same price or more than a real restaurant breakfast. It did taste good but I was still hungry. It does not state the portion sizes on the menu. I think people would expect a standard breakfast not a senior, child or mini portion. My partner had chicken strips with a Caesar salad. Chicken strips were good but the Caesar salad was not made with romaine which is normal, customary and by definition. It was made with kale or some bitter lettuce - and was disgusting. It was not eaten and when he complained we were told it would be taken off the bill but it wasn't. $13 for a couple of chicken strips is poor value. Also a small serving of ok chicken wings were $13. We also ordered a Caesar drink and the menu proudly states it is garnished however you like. I asked for celery - the normal, usual and correct garnish. I was told that the witness would have to check if they could do that and went off on another 15 minute excursion. She had also done that when we wanted to order- off on a hunt for an elusive note pad. She couldn't remember the order of two people? Anyway- there are so many other places out there that there is no reason to spend your money at this place. We told the waitress that we were not impressed with the food or service. She giggles "oh okay- good night". Ya see ya - never. Oh ya and I really enjoyed the WHL hockey and women's fake wrestling on the tv. Omg."

"I have been to this establishment many times. The family that runs it cooks authentic Thai food. The service is very good and the waiter I always have is very kind and courteous"

"Looks like new ownership and poor quality of sushi. The quality of sushi appears to be dismal. We ordered wild salmon maki and salmon Nigiri which was only half the size from previous portions by the old owners. I too was a long time customer but now will look for another spot. Sad."

"So disappointed. The sweet and sour pork is awful, wish I have read the reviews before I ordered. The spring rolls are flavourless, so is the rice. The only ok thing was the black bean chicken. $50 waisted. Do not recommend."

"This is the best Indian food I've had in the Lower Mainland. The name is accurate - you can tell the the chef is a spice artist! The samosas have a subtly spicy, complex flavor that becomes more apparent with every bite and a light texture, enclosed in a crispy but not greasy pastry. The vindaloo is perfect, cooked in a blend of spices and aromatics that come together to be more than the sum of their parts (I could eat this dish every single day). They have a large variety of paneer dishes; the cheese has a great texture and the sauces are all, like everything I've tried from this restaurant, beautifully spiced and hearty (rather than the thin sauces I've experienced at other local Indian restaurants). They don't skimp on the portions - there's a LOT of cheese/meat/vegetables in the dishes, so you feel satisfied and full. I also really like that they offer the choice or rice or naan with each main dish, instead of defaulting to rice. The restaurant itself is small, so I prefer to get takeout rather than dine-in. But the employees I've interacted with have all been super friendly, and very accommodating (I once called in an order a few hours before I could come pick it up and they had it hot and ready right on the time I'd specified). In short, please please please go to this restaurant. My palate needs them to stay in business. I can't wait to try every dish on their menu."

"Very bad service, unpleasant and not friendly! Menus and tables dirty! Washroom is so disgusting every time! I believe they had other owners before , we were going forward years and now just terrible service . Save ur money and drive to another city and get A class service and fine dinning ! Go to tasty bistro more upscale and nice trendy Indian restaurant with the best staff . Never understaff more modern touch! This place is run down and needs revamp and friendly staff! Makes you not even want to go! Fish and food is not bad but overall dining experience is a no! Only one restaurant in Coquitlam drive 20 min out of city and seriously Go to tasty bistro in Surrey! I’m Indian and there are much much better restaurants and better atmosphere than this ."

"This place is alongside a larger louder eating place, however it being snuck in the back gives one an invite to a quiet calm place to eat and recoup from the bustling world around. We had sashimi, gomae, california rolls and deep fried shrimp rolls! This will be my new sushi place for 2017, I highly recommend it!"
