"We were really looking forward to our meal, unfortunately it wasn't enjoyable. 3 steak and 3 tuna steak meals ordered. 1 steak overcooked and 2 tuna steaks overcooked, very dry and swimming in oil. All in all, very disappointed"

"The view from restaurant was amazing, it's a lovely cosy little restaurant, the service was very good and the waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend the chicken curry.This restaurant was recommended by our Hotel who made our reservation, the restaurant provided free transport to and from our hotel."

"We have been coming here over the years and we always have the same dish : Espetada madeirense The meat is great, the portions are very generous, the chips and the fried corn are home made and very tasty. Overall it has a great price quality relationship."

"Excellent food and very friendly and welcoming team of staff. Food was the best we have eaten on the island so far, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are great. Limpets were sublime-baked Camembert was enough for 4 people, the Turkey was excellent and the black pork and pineapple was delicious. The garlic bread was beautiful and the wine complimented everything-we will return for the creamed vegetable soup and the sirloin with mushrooms!! Well done-amazing evening and reasonably priced."

"Our last visit was 3 years ago which I always said I'd return so we did. Fortunately again had table by the window. They picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel in their own minibus. The service is second to none. The menu is incredible and the actual food is even better. If you visit this gem of an island you MUST go to this restaurant, you won't regret it. Guaranteed."
