"We had a very nice stay over the lab weekend. The owners are super hospitable and accommodating. On arrival we were presented with cheese assortment, snacks and wine. We missed the planned breakfast, but were still offered. The owners had a few very nice conversations with us. Rooms are spacious and welcoming. The place is located in the centre of Red Wing, but in a quiet area. Very recommended!"

"My husband goes to Red Wing a few times a month to fish......which this wife encourages. Because that means he will stop by Meatheads. By far the best cuts of meat we have had. The chicken cordon bleu brats....GET THEM. Unbelievable flavor! Tortilla stuffed chicken....also a favorite of ours! The steaks....mouth watering delicious! My only complaint is I wish that Meatheads was closer! It's well worth the hour drive there."

"We stopped here after a golf outing in Lake City. I was excited to find a place with healthier food. I had the seared salmon dish. The salmon was prepared perfectly, but the coconut curry sauce was a bit bland. My husband tried the trout entree whichcame with a delicious corned beef hash. The trout had lots of bones (right, we know), but just be careful. Beet salad was good,clam chowder was a little weak. Service was great."

"Super friendly staff and campers. I was there only a couple of days, but the long term campers made me feel like I was at home. It isn't as cheap as the tribal camping lot. It makes up for it with the tavern food and fun craft beers available. There is trout fishing available onsite.Nearby activities: Red Wing pottery and local breweries and rare shopping.Food drinks: The saloon at the Hay Creek campground has great lunch and dinner . Downtown Redwing is also a treasure for shopping and site seeing."
