"Really nice bar and restaurant, mixed food. The bar area is very nicely managed and ‘owned’ by the bar keeper who greets everyone as they enter and makes them feel welcome. Small selection of local beers (I think 3 on tap July 2023) will suit some, but not all tastes. Outstanding whisky and bourbon selection and a solid wine list. Really comfortable and pleasant atmosphere too. Why only fours star then? Am I a miserable perfectionist? Errrr sort of, yes I am. The food we ordered included fried artichokes that were over seasoned, battered and deep fried completely obscuring the taste of the artichokes and pan fried fish that had stayed in the pan too long and become hard. That said, as we becoming frequent visitors to Rome we will be back!"

"Honestly, if I could have rated this better I would have. We stopped in here before going to an event and we’re so happy we did.My husband had the burnt ends, brisket, broccoli salad and collard greens. All of which he enjoyed. The kids had grilled cheese and Mac and cheese ? And I had the blossom burger. I really liked the toppings, especially the pickles and diced onions. I feel like there was more thought that went into what I was eating in each bite. My drink from the bar was very tasty as well.The atmosphere on the patio was great, The kids enjoyed the yard games and I enjoyed watching them enjoy them hahaI was also very impressed with the service. A lot of the time it seems like you don’t get good service if you sit in a bar or patio but that was not the case here. We had multiple people asking if we needed anything, refilling water, etc. We never had to look for someone bc they were already there.Overall, great family night out. We will be back and probably sooner rather than later!!"
