"Stumbled upon this wonderful place on my way to plage les fosses. From the outside, the restaurant excudes a wonderful, low key French charm--exactly what you hope to find. There is a lovely terrace, where we ate. From the first look at the menu I knew this was the place. So many French classics--specifically Provence--I couldn't decide. I ordered the housemade rabbit terrine as a starter. I will remember it for the rest of my life! And I will return simply to eat this again. For the entree we ordered fresh Dorado, caught that morning, grilled with provencal vegetables and sauteed potatoes. The fish came accompanied with Beurre Blanc, sauce Creole and sauce Vierge. Each sauce was better than the next. Our plates were spotless by the end. For desert, raspberry soup with vanilla icecream. Truly the stuff of heaven. Wine list is perfect. Service is perfect. The owner, who also took some of our order, was simply a delight. So warm, so french, so divine!"

"Everything is perfect every time we have lunch or dinner in this restaurant located on the port of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat! All dishes on the menu are cooked with local products of very good quality (no cooking freezer!!! : we have enjoyed each of our dishes that we have chosen... a culinary address not to be missed!"

"My wife and I enjoyed a very tasty lunch here recently and would certainly recommend to others. There are a number of waterfront restaurants to choose from, however Le Pirate seemed to have something different. We were warmly welcomed on a busy lunch time and had the perfect spot with a view over the port. Prompt and polite service, the food was super tasty and all washed down with a bottle of chilled local wine. I kept it simple with a creamy prawn risotto perfectly cooked and with large juicy prawns followed by the obligatory profiteroles. We were impressed with Le Pirate in an area where you are spoilt for restaurants. We love Le Pirate.Thanks Stuart Susan x"

"Le Pacha is now called Le Pacha du Sloop as it has taken over the premises of a previous restaurant. Only yards away and lucky for us larger so more of us can eat there. Lucky too for vegetarians as the proprietor and chef loves the challenge of creating something different. Just tell him that you don't want any of the meat/fish dishes on the menu and he returns to the kitchen with enthusiasm. lovely people, lovely setting right on the port's edge and a reasonable price. Recommended"

"It had been a long time since I had not eaten 2 of the nice specialities : pan bagnat which is a round sandwich filled with lettuce, tomato, tuna fish,egg, radish, olive oil and pissaladière which is a pie made lots of onions cooked in olive oil,anchovies and black olives. Both were delicious and really reminded me of my childhood favorites. The boulangerie is in the village of saint-jean cap ferret which is lovely. Buy your sandwiches before going for a pique-nique on the beach"
