"Le restaurant est très petit et toutes les tables sont collées à côté des autres. Pour la nourriture, c'est très bon (rapport qualité prix). Mais si vous y allez pour avoir un petit coin tranquille avec votre amoureux, ce n'est pas le bon endroit. Les repas par contre sont tous faits maison. Ne vous attendez pas non plus à avoir des sourires des serveuses. Peut être sont ils trop occupées."

"After waiting and waiting and waiting, and also seeing other tables who arrived afer us being served their meals, we finally recieved our « entrée pupusas » that we were splitting between us. We received these without plates. We ate with paper napkins as plates. They brought our...main course at the same time. So it was cold by the time we finished our pupusas. We had ordered chicken fajitas for two. Very ordinary. The staff was more attentive to new customers than those customers who were actually seated and waiting to be served. Very very disappointing considering that when they first opened it was great. I used to like this place, but I won’t be going back. The service was terrible. We had to ask for our desert and they forgot to bring it. When we decided to leave and were at the counter to pay, they came out with our desert and actually said to us: oh you are in a hurry? And the funniest thing about this whole evening is that we had made reservations! And the last thing that will stick in my mind while eating on my napkin is having a nice view of the toilet in the mens bathroom. Men, close the door when you go!"

The menu is well balanced with house favorites and new dishes added regularly. The wine list is always interesting: don't hesitate to ask for recommendations. Great place for entertaining guests or clients. Reservations are a must on weekends, and strongly recommended at lunch."

"Since we had such a great experience the first time, we went back to Exotica for a family birthday. The service and the food were such a disappointment that it was hard to believe it was the same restaurant. There were many mistakes made by the server (not the professional we had last time). Food that should have been hot, was not. Two of love sushi and were shocked to find that most pieces were warm (room temperature) instead of cool or cold. We immediately spat out one particular type of sushi when we tried it -- clearly `bad`. When I mentioned this to the server, instead of immediately offering a different type she told us that the chef said that`s how it was supposed to taste! Even our beloved Peché Mignon was not warm enough to melt the ice cream instead which was rock hard. I wish I could say this was just an off night for the restaurant but am afraid to try a third time given our second experience."
