"This is a nice and friendly dinner style restaurant with good food. It is next to the Harley's garage and parking is easy right in front of the restaurant. They offer an alternative to their 'cartes' on Thursday at lunch time and have a varied 'carte' from different burgers to pasta dishes, tapas and fish specialities. Great for children too and plenty of space. They have a nice Grimbergen wheat beer which is a hazy pale gold. Perfect accompaniment to a burger. I personally enjoyed the cuttlefish: 'seiche à la plancha'. My daughter had the double hot dog! (See photo) Le café gourmand was a great addition to the meal (see photo). Simple food freshly prepared and very friendly staff. On Friday night they tend to have a local band in."

"Although it's not run by a Japanese cook, the food tastes as if it was made in Japan. Although the individual menus are good, the menus (which are about 13euros) are much more delicious and economical. Overall I would recommend it if you like Japanese food"

"I will enter this review in English for all the Englis speakers out there . . . This little cafe is an oasis of amazing flavours, friendly, helpful service and enjoyable outdoor dining! We stopped for lunch. The €25 menu allowed a choice of duck or filets of Rouget. Both were expertly cooked and delicious! The filets of Rouget, for instance were grilled in their skin with a sauce vierge de Legumes et Truffe that expertly showcased the flavour of the fish. The wine by the glass was also excellent. I ordered the rose and my husband the red both from the coreau d'Aix. The olive oil served at the table was also of very high quality. I broke my gluten free diet to try repeated samples of it with the excellent bread. Desserts were unfussy, just pre-prepared jars, but tasty! In short, La Carafe takes great care with the flavours and freshness of its food and wines. We can only speak for lunch, when it was a great value for the price!"

"Nous avons eu la sensation d'être agressé par la serveuse parce qu'elle très très pressée à cause du monde et parce que sa patronne l'a laissée toute seule en salle !!! Elle ne nous a pas laissé le temps de choisir, nous avons dû faire très vite pour commander. La crêpe était froide. Service médiocre, nous avons pas passé un moment agréable dans cet établissement. Le café très bon."

"Les formules sont attrayantes et disponibles même le samedi midi si on en croit se qui est écrit mais voilà une fois installé ce n'est plus le même discours, le serveur me dit gentiment que c'est son chef qui a fait une erreur et que ce n'est pas possible d'avoir cette formule, j'insiste en disant que c'est bien écrit samedi midi compris mais non rien à faire... J'ai donc pris qu'un plat : une souris d'agneau au thym dommage qu'elle soit servie avec des pâtes blanches pas salées. Voilà très déçu de ce repas et de l'accueil, je n' y retournerai pas je n'ai vraiment pas passé un bon moment..."
