"Fantastic day at The Beach Shack today! Started off with a champagne breakfast and ended up with dinner there too, being the last to leave. The owner went out of his way to accommodate us and was very welcoming. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back!"

"We had a lovely meal here, staff were super friendly. The waitress was amazing with my youngest child. The food was really tasty and good value. My only criticism would be the ice cream was quite melted when it came to the table. Everything else was fab, so it didn't really matter."

"Flanagan's has become our go-to when we stay in sandown. Good selection of drinks, plenty of seating and a friendly atmosphere. Seafood platter went down well with a couple pints of starboard."

"Great location and views but otherwise a bit of a let down. We waited nearly an hour for food (we were told to expect a 30 minute wait), portions were small given the hefty price tag and some items (e.g. onion rings) were overcooked. The sardines had not been gutted which is either sloppy or suggests an inexperienced kitchen team. The place was generally a bit of a mess and this made me wonder about hygiene. My recommendation would be to enjoy the views with a drink if you fancy but eat elsewhere. We would not go back ourselves."

"Terrible bacon was cold the last time I visited tried it again thought it was a one off . Poached eggs on toast with bacon cold again took it back unhelpful non caring staff in the kitchen. They leave the food under the lamps for ages and not cooked to be hot . Will never eat their again will be recommending to anyone I know not to Eat the floor was covered in old food under the table . They never have the items advertised not the bread stated but have it in the supermarket waste of money."
