"Apesar de achar o preço um pouco incompatível com a quantidade servida, valeu por ser gostoso. No entanto, o atendimento deixou a desejar, parecendo que o garçom nem queria atender. No mais é isso! O lugar é bem frequentado pelos maranhenses e pessoas de outras localidades."

"Sometimes you go somewhere without much expectations to find out that everything is absolutely AMAZING! This is for sure one of the best places to eat seafood in São Luis! Recommended: Arroz do mar, excellent sea food paella kind of dish with lagosta, shrimps and crab claws. Also amazing: Spaghetti with shrimps. Simple, but prepared perfectly al ponto . That is for the pasta and the shrimps in the sauce! The restaurants opens from Tuesday util Saturday and only on reservation. A bit less convenient but definitely worth it! GO THERE!!"

"Fomos eu e minha esposa, achamos o ambiente realmente rústico e a comida deliciosa, bem temperada e na medida certa em termos de quantidade. Pedimos o carro chefe, segunda a garçonete, que é o Peixe a lá cafofo (algo assim). Pescada amarela grelhada, com camarões grelhados, vatapá, arroz cuxá e salada. Excelente! Realmente demorou um pouco: 45 min. Mas fomos tomando uma cervejinha enquanto isso. Bem simples, pra quem dá valor à comida temperadinha e caseira, sem frescura."

"When I lived in São Luis years ago I used to regularly go to this place. The fish (pescada) was delicious. I'm pleased to say that it is still as amazing as ever. The prices are a little bit higher but the quality of...the food, the potion sizes and the service still continue to be outstanding. Worth a visit"

"Even non-vegetarians will love this place - my boyfriend wants to go here all the time. Gafanhotos is pretty much the only option for vegetarians in Sao Luis that want to lunch out. This is completely okay by me, as the food is tasty, fresh and full of flavor. It even has a little supermarket in the back corner, where you can buy several vegetarian meat substitutes etc. Great place!"

"Minha a esse restaurant foi sem defeitos. O atmosphere é bem pretty e estava cool e super agradável. O garçom que nos atendeu indicou o filé de sol tropical, que estava simplesmente delicious. Amei provar também o suco de bacuri bem geladinho e o trio de mousses (bacuri, chocolate e cupuaçu) de sobremesa. Uma excellent gastronomic experience."
