"Our waiter was charming and perfectly attentive. Chef’s choice for appetizer was a wonderful tasting of mussels, an oyster, octopus, sardine 2 ways and a mayo based pink shrimp sauce (I believe) over shredded lettuce. Every bite was delicious! Swordfish was thin sliced but prepared well. Roasted vegetables made an excellent side. If you are lucky to find yourself in Sciacca, make a reservation!"

"A truly charming restaurant, without any doubt the food is fresh and the staff and the owner peppina are unsurpassed. a timeless terrace that I didn't think of finding as soon as I climbed a ladder that leads to the first floor, finding us in a perfectly groomed garden. we were welcomed as if we were part of their family after a few minutes of conversion at the end of the evening and with great surprise we were greeted in their hearts as they in ours. "I don’t often write reviews but felt I must after eating twice in this restaurant one lunch and one dinner during our stay in Sciacca. It’s a lovely place tucked away back from the main street and well worth a visit. It has an extensive and reasonably priced Sicilian menu and is family owned and run. The ladies who served us are delightful we don’t speak Italian they have very little English but with a bit of pointing miming we all laughed our way through our ordering. We shared an Italian antipasti platter to start with then I had pasta in a creamy fish sauce my husband had the swordfish. On both visits we were offered coffee and limoncello on the house. The dining room is spacious and airy with a beautiful vaulted ceiling. We shared a very reasonably priced carafe of the local dry white wine it was delicious. Hope to return to Sicily next year and will definitely be coming back."

"After some searching we found the place near the port of Sciacca. When you manage to get a table on the small balcony you have a romantic sea view, the inside is nothing special. We had nice raw seafood as appetizer, the pasta with seafood was also quite tasty. Prices are moderate, the enthusiasm of the staff leaves room for improvement."
