"Delicious, fresh fish from the mornig catch, well combining with cabbage and potatoes which did not overwhelm the taste of the seabass. Amazing fish soup and tasty octopus. Very friendly staff and you could feel the kind of personal touch when the owner came to ask if everything was ok."

"Amazing fresh fish. Tasted like it had jumped from the sea to the grill. Friendly hosts too. Very kid to give us a couple of complimentary glasses of port each too! Great wine also. Fish was just incredible though. Flawlessly prepared and cooked"

"Located near the Matosinhos Fish Market (Matosinhos is right beside Porto, a little bit to the north), this restaurant is an excellent choice if you are looking for some fresh fish. We had Lulinhas Fritas (fried squid) which were very well cooked and tasty, some friends also tried the Robalo (bass) and the traditional Bacalhau (codfish) which were also praised. The staff was always on alert and extremely nice even with us staying very late and being the last customers to leave. They also have a private park which is great for those who bring their car or a rental since the street is very busy with lots of restaurants around. If I had to point out some negative aspect I'd say the limited choice of wines (especially green wines that are great to serve with a fish dish) and their wine prices, they were rather steep. Overall it was a very good dinner experience and I'd recommend the place to anyone."

"The worst restaurant experience of my life! first we booked a table and we had to wait as there was no free table (sic then, we were informed that no seafood is available and then a few were served next to us. To...ours complain the waiter accuses my partner not to understand while he is a native! garnel and lobster were pretty hard, just passed his perfect moment. at the end they presented us a reception with the price of the lobster for exactly 1kg up to a program, and if we asked for weight loss, how it is normally presented automatically in a decent restaurant, we were advised that we must trust that inadvertently the lobster weighs exactly 1000g (I mean, what are the chances?! instead of trying to solve the situation he wants to suffer!"
