"Krone offers two different options: a fine dining restaurant (close to a Michelin star) and a another restaurant, not quite so upscale, but still at a very high level, both in terms of quality and price. This review refers to the latter. The food was very nice: they offer a range of large pieces to share (whole fish, large cuts of beef etc.) - we had the pheasant served in two courses. preparation was impeccable, the composition of the dishes very nice. Wines also good. The selection of open wines they had didn't quite agree with me, so they found something else they had just opened, a very nice Meursault, which we enjoyed. Service: excellent, nothing to improve here. Noteworthy is the generous size of tables, giving you ample space for a nice dinner. Interior: an old, classic, wood-tiled room with a traditional fire-place and everything, very cosy. Prices: a bit hefty - CHF84 just for the two courses of pheasant (per person), I find that a bit much."
