"This place was recommended to us and it didn’t disappoint. Nice setting and away from the hustle and bustle of 5th ave but not that far either. The entire meal was great especially the tacos."

"Me and my husband went for dinner. We both got the shrimp Rasta pasta. I got mine with chicken Shrimp mixed and when I said it was delicious, believe me. It did have a little spice to it but just enough. My husband isnt even a pasta lover, but he raved about it, I’m already ready to go back and it’s only been two days; do yourself a favor and check it out. I also seen the jerk chicken plates that other people had, and it looked very good and had a good portion of food. Also, the whole fish looked really good but was too pricey for us, My only issue was the heat. It’s an outside restaurant and It was burning up outside so it was hard to enjoy the hot plus spicy food in such temperatures. He has fans but it’s still hot but this is Mexico. If he had AC…. Omg that would be 100/100! I think will be going back before we leave to go back to the States! 10/10 !!! ps my food was good even reheated the next day lol"

"Sono stata qui con mio marito per due notti. La stanza era davvero spaziosa e pulita. Il wi fi funzionava benissimo. L'acqua era calda in bagno. La notte eravamo cullati dal frusciare delle palme. La spiaggia è distante un paio di km e per arrivarci si percorre un bel tratto di strada sterrata e sconnessa. Per accedere alla spiaggia serve una moneta che si ottiene dal personale a presidio dell'ingresso della strada e non dalla reception dell'hotel. Il ristorante Pavo Real è chiuso e abbiamo avuto la colazione inclusa servita all'adiacente Burger Stop."

"We visited the Italian restaurant twice during our stay, I agree with others, it does lack ambience due to the fact that you can hear the buffet restaurant which is behind the partition. The melanzane parmigiana could have done with cooking slightly longer but the mussel soup was delicious. On our first visit I enjoyed the pork tenderloin, whilst my husband had cannelloni. On our second visit I had the ossobucco which was very good but my husband wasn't that keen on his choice of lasagne. We felt that the menu was a little limited. The waiter (Guillermo?) was very attentive and friendly."

"Unlike many other restaurants in the center of Playa del Carmen, this is a real restaurant and not a tourist trap: good food, good staff and guests that care about good food. We didn’t have a reservation and just walked in, but were lucky to get the last table available. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting. As it is quite small, my advice is to make a reservation upfront. You want regret it."
