"We found this restaurant by chance and were lucky to get the last table. The two young waiters were very friendly and attentive and they really made us enjoy the evening. Although this is a restaurant for fine food, the atmosphere is quite relaxed; we were dressed quite casually (although no jeans and sneakers), but that was not a problem. We ordered the 3-course menu, which was very beautifully presented. The food quality was excellent, but unfortunately the meat of the main course was already a bit cold. The dessert was delicious, but perhaps a too sweet tick from my point of view, but this is personal preference. Prices are very favourable for this type of restaurant (in Switzerland). The restaurant has a small terrace, but not open in winter (only used by smokers). The view of the city must be very beautiful in summer."

"The sign at the restaurant for the old Stephan announces the year 1038. The time has not stopped, because guests are spoiled in the cozy restaurant of the highest quality. Gourmets like to meet in the restaurant to the Old Stephan in the Zunftstube , but...also in the Gaststube , or by good weather, outside in the garden restaurant on the beautiful Friedhofsplatz. The last Saturday, we had a dinner with you in the „Gaststube“. First, we were surprised with an beautiful amuse bouche and then followed the Zahnderrückenfilet (fish) with mascarpone risotto with spring vegetables on maltaiser sauce. It was an outstanding, wonderful meal. Bravo to the cook Stefan Bader with his 14 Gault Millau points. The great service and attention by the landlady Tamara Bader herself and her team was impressive. . The mixture to the old Stephan is perfect. Culinary delights paired with genuine hospitality in a well maintained, relaxed environment. Thank you for the great food we look forward to the next time! Robert Iris"

"Loved the dinner at the Cantinetta Bindella, food and service was perfect. Dining out on their beautiful patio under the (chestnut trees made me feel like I was in Italy (the 30 degrees celsius night helped too!!! . Highly recommended place."

"It is so beautiful that we fell in love with this place. It is just very close to the river and you can see the water if you sit on a table near the window. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. There is a play ground just next to it so kids can play there while you enjoy your drink. There is also a camp side where there were many caravans, I guess that it would be a busy place for summer. We only had a coffee which was good, the service was very good too, polite and fast. Nothing to say for the bathrooms, just spotless!"
