"Disappointed that only a set menu was available, as it was Mother's Day! While I can appreciate this, as the restaurant was very busy, it would have been helpful to have been informed of this on booking or at least an indication on the menu board outside the restaurant would have been helpful as I had my heart set on lobster! Food was great but not much of it! Seated on garden furniture, as there were not enough seats! Cover charge of £8.50 per head outrageous! No indication of this on menu inside or on menu board outside restaurant! Disappointing!"

"All products are fresh, which is fantastic. but my lobster was more on the dry side of the arbroath smokie was delicious my only kon is that they do not share bills. I hate that. I think they're just lazy. I worked in restaurants and it is not so much, even if I go with 20 people. I have to pay for everything?"

"Service very slow even though the place was quiet. Some staff seemed to spend most of their time chatting. We only had a few snacks but they were very good. Outside area could have been cleaner. Staff were slow to clear tables so a large seagull did it for them.. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"
