"The decoration from Architect Norman Foster (Prizker price winner) is absolutely fantastic. With Cresta, Bobsleigh, Skating and Ski memorabilia. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonably high as we are in St. Moritz .. Twice, I was uncomfortable with the service. Very German and charmless not with the Italian charm that we have generally at the Kulm. NO ITALIAN = NO CHARM ...Worse we try to booked with a foreign accent on Friday, we were told there was no table available. 3 minutes later our wonderful German friend get the reservation. Worse they were 3 empty tables during the whole dinner.Not to mention that My German friend had to rectify the bill which as usual was overcharged. (2 bottles of Bordeaux Pomerol instead of one) Because of the service, which was OK (except the bill."mistake".), with absolutely no charm or comprehension, I did not feel 100% satisfied.The Kulm Country Club has, for the moment not the spirit of a real country club. We feel more in a German Barracs. I am sure that Mr.Heinz Hunkeler, an outstanding professional, the GM of the Kulm, will correct it very quickly."

"After walking around the lake before a rain shower we were quite glad to find a nice normal place to eat in St Moritz. We were lucky that there was a small group of tourists having dinner there so they were open after 6pm. The fish and chips were delicious, made with the local fish. The local rösti was also quite good. The prices are surprisingly normal eventhough you are in St. Moritz. As others have mentioned the view, staff and atmosphere are quite refreshing."

"Auf unserer Langlauf-Tour wollten wir Mittagspause machen: nach 20min Wartezeit trotz nur ca. 8 Gästen mussten wir Speisekarte selbst holen - als nach weiteren 15min der Kellner immer noch auf sich warten liess, haben wir unseren eigenen Tee getrunken und sind hungrig wieder gegangen."

"We were out of ideas for a last minute dinner for two. Passing by Hato, a foto caught my eye and since my daughter loves sushi we decided to walk in. We were lucky to find a table. The dark, modern atmosphere with the leather chairs is attractive. Our sashimi-nigiri dinner was very good, the quality of the fish was excellent. Our Italian waiter was a pleasant man, so our dinner turned out a success."

"Happen by chance. friendly staff pleasant location. . . we tried the first... unmanageable. risotto with mushrooms and pappardelle to the peasant, ok that we are out of Italy but I seem to have understood that the chef is Italian. ..wrong cooking and also matching the ingredients. If I presented a plate of pappardelle so in Italy they pull it behind me without even tasting it. near high...ok sankt moritz but not deserved. to try for the seconds."

"We had a great dinner at Da Vittorio, it rivaled the food being served during the St Moritz Gourmet Festival. The attentiveness of the staff and their knowledge of the dishes they served was astounding. From the busboy to the maitre d, everyone was informed...and knowledgeable about the course being served, the ingredients, where they were from and how it was prepared. I can’t imagine the hours of training necessary for that level of skilled staff. Truffles, truffles, truffles!!! It is not surprising that Da Vittorio has received one star and their home resturant in Italy has Michelin Stars. If you truly enjoy food and don’t mind paying for a superior experience in gourmet dining, you will be be pleased. The maitre d is one of the best!"

"I love the Grand Restaurant. The sense of anticipation of getting ready for one of the most elegant dining experiences. The sparking candles on every table that light up the room, the view on the lake swaying in a gentle breeze below, the music backdrop that fills the room, crystal chandeliers and black suited waiters that prepare your food at your table...for me this is an uncomparable dining experience that engages all the senses. Food for me is a sensual experience, it shouldn't be rushed and Le Grand Restaurant offers pleasures for body and soul. Apart from a wonderful menu card the restaurant will make wherever your fancy may take you with the highest quality and service."
