"We returned to the restaurant after 2 years to enjoy the delicious pike prepared here, unfortunately we were told that for 2 people cannot offer pike, from 5 people up ... we chose another fresh fish from Rhine and after a few minutes the waitress...brought something other than what we ordered, put the plates and disappeared quickly without having time to tell her that it was not what we ordered. When she came back, we told that she had brought us something different that we had asked for, she took the plates and left without any comment. The correct order was brought to us by someone else, it was a fish from the Rhine, fresh and tasty. It's a shame that in a restaurant with good food and tradition it's a rude waitress and without the desire to be a good host."

"Heute waren wir mit der Familie in diesem Restaurant. Man merke- an einem Touristenort. Meine Schwester ging voraus und fragte ob es Platz gäbe für 10 Personen zum Essen. Kein Problem war die Antwort. Wir nahmen Platz und wurden für die Getränke gefragt. Der Kellner war freundlich. Allerdings kam anschliessend die Kellnerin/Köchin/Chefin??? Keine Ahnung welches ihre Funktion ist. Aber uns fiel die Kinnlade als ihre Aussage war:"Also was möchten sie essen?? Ich hoffe sie haben nicht alle verschiedene Teller!!!!" Das war unter aller S.... . Das ist weder gastfreundlich noch professionell. Eigentlich hätten wir da schon aufstehen und gehen sollen. Denn wenn ein Restaurant mit der eigenen Karte überfordert ist, dann läuft etwas mächtig schief. Aber wir blieben geduldig. Das Essen war gut. Aber meins wurde vergessen. Über eine Stunde haben wir gewartet. Was uns auch erstaunt hat ist, dass an einem Touristenort nicht einmal mit EC bezahlt werden kann! Das war auch enttäuschend. Wir werden nicht mehr kommen und empfehlen das Lokal definitiv nicht weiter."

"We have a quick lunch in this restaurant when our cruise ship arrived Stein am Rhein. The restaurant has both indoor or open sittings while in the latter case, you could have better views on the riverside. The food in general was acceptable with reasonable...price but the staff were a bit slow in action as we have to hurry up with our tour elsewhere."

"Nice place and nice surrounding. Great spot for chilling out on a fine day. Lots of crêpe options (sweet and savoury) and yes very authentic deliciously. I had maronicrème/salted caramel crêpe topped with an ice cream a bottle of Sein am Rhein house beer...Perfect combination."
