"I eat here each week with friends and we all love it. There is an outside playground for children and they have free children’s entertainment every Sunday. It has an adult bar area that plays football matches. There is lots of free car parking on...hard flat ground."

"Just back from lunch. of us. Food/service was second to none. Couldn't do enough for us. Even got a child's roast for mum to take as not well enough to come. I had a child's meal too and cause I couldn't it all they boxed it up and I will have it later!Others x scampi in the basket chicken ceaser fish and adult Sunday roastCan't remember the rest but it was fantastic. Definitely recommend it and we shall be coming back"

"On Friday I ordered a slightly broken cadjau because of health problems. I have a fish with normal/normal battery. I appreciate that they were very busy around 17.30, but I would still expect what I ordered. I have the reception in my possession and nowhere is it easily broken, although salt and vinegar is noticed. as the young lady who served me screamed, whose fish and chips are! I asked if it was the slightly broken, she said “yes” that was not right. how would she have known if the order-shake did not notice a cadry easily scattered. I was aware that she never screams out for a cod when she took the order. mikey never understood it wrong."

"We visited last night for dinner with our friends. Firstly, the inside of the pub has a wonderful old school feel to it that is rare nowadays. Nice open fire going and great atmosphere. For food, we had a sharing platter between four of us...then for main we had the feather blade steak, duck and pork belly. All absolutely fantastic. The service throughout was superb and the wine was well priced. We left at 11 after three hours well fed and well oiled and the bill was more than reasonable for what we had. Really impressed. My only criticism would be the desert. We all had the Black Forest Eton mess and there was far too much cream and little else. It’s a shame as we all said if this was as good as the starter and main it would be up there with the best meals we have ever had. All in all, bravo to the church inn. Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful food and top level service."

"Here for the weekday dinner and it was not disappointed. I couldn't find the menu anywhere online sad, but when we arrived and had a look, there were a lot of different options for selecting (wraps, burgers, fish chips, etc. we were sitting outside. it was a nice day and there was a decent sitting area on the back. we will definitely go back, eating was great and the staff was very friendly. we have seen some low reviews here before we were visiting, but our experience was not right and we really enjoyed it."
