"I love to come to this restaurant whenever I’m in Thal. Especially the fish dishes (mainly from local fisher-men at lake Constance) are wonderful and available in different variations. Very recommendable."

"Perhaps the next restaurant to the old Rhine airport, the schiffli is a true fund. the specialities of the restaurant are fish from the bottom lake. but also the cordon bleue for example is excellent."

"Congratulations to the designer of the webpage! It looks so much better in the internet than it is in reality. The restaurant is nice inside, the service was good and also the owner was present. The fish soup (little version) which we selected as a starter was still ok, but the mains were not: The fish was overcooked, very dry to eat, and was presented on a mountain of vegetable and two pieces of potatoes under the vegetable and the fish. We did not feel well in the afternoon after having eaten there. The most disappointing was however the presentation on the webpage and where you finally land: Just next to an industrial estate, view of an old chimney, some boats in the garden which were ready to be watered to the sheltered harbour a bit away from the lake. So, our imagination to have a lake side lunch did not come true. We won't be back!"
