"I visit here once a month as it happens to be in my locality.Last month as always, I bought a pepper barbeque and found it to be a little smelly (like rotten).But, I continued eating as I was hungry. The next day my throat had a severe infection and had to suffer for one week even after visiting the doctor!It sure is a one-off incident, but they didn't pay attention to the quality of food they were serving or they simply ignored!P.S. If you are to dine in the restaurant, have more patience, as they take longer than usual to serve your order!"

"A great place for Mughal food. The biriyani served here is awesome and worth making a trip just to taste them. Authentic South Indian non vegetarian food was also available and I would say that connoisseurs of Indian non vegetarian food should not miss visiting this place."

"We were staying at Ramyas and decided to eat at Thendral though it was a little warm... Got a corner table for our family and ordered fish fry, prawns varuval and butter chicken.. Butter chicken took a long time to get served, it seemed like a case where the server forgot to place the order with the kitchen... The fresh lime soda had an issue with the lemon, seemed as though one of them had old lime and it tasted bad - the drink was replaced when it was pointed out... Prawns and Fish were both good... There was mention about mosquitoes, we were seated inside and hence didn't get troubled by mosquitoes..."

Unlike other places which serve non-veg meals, this place gives the gravy with the piece of meat/fish. Never had any complaints over the taste of the food here."

"Chembian is the in-house restaurant of Sangam Hotel in Trichy. A very quiet place, primarily catering to the in-house guests. My days stay hardly showed any walk-in customers. And that’s surprising. The ambience is understated and simple, not what one is used to high...glitzy set up of restaurants in metros. Food cuisine is wide spread but their speciality is no doubt the South Indian traditional food. And if you are in Chettinad food, this is the place to be. I tried their signature broth lentil and drum stick soup. Man, it was heavenly. The other food varieties am not going to name. You got to walk in to enjoy. A word of caution for those who are low in salt. Their food seems to be high in salt. So before ordering, tell the staff to go low on salt. And enjoy the food."
