"The Devonport is my go-to destination every time I visit Millbrook, Cawsand or Kingsand. The food is good but the place is popular so getting a table without reserving is a game of chance. However, on a good weather day, sitting outside in the sun watching the world go by as the tide comes in or goes out with a pasty in one hand and a pint in the other is as good as it gets. In the winter months there is a lovely log fire and the staff always make you feel welcome. I cannot recommend The Devonport more highly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Beautifully decorated, but bad service and eat. the food took age groups to get out, although it was calm and heard other tables that moaned about it. when the food came out, the chips were cold on one of the meals. another meal had a barely...warm jacket kartoffel. we ordered extra cheese on the jacket kartoffel and there was nothing. tou know when they can pour, the small stretches they got? had about 3 of them! overall very disappointed and will not return what a candid is because its a beautiful ambiente"

"What a charming little place, a real little jewel. the personal here is fantastic polite and can not do enough for them. the food is well presented and produced in time, our foods were full of taste, succulent and delicious. we were blessed with the sunshine looking over the bay when the curse came in, brilliant! highly recommended!"

"Average at best!!After reading all the reviews I was hopeful of a good quality fish and chips.I was let down.The chips were average at best, soggy, questionably cooked and not particularly hot.The fish and sausage were good.The batter was dense and crispy, which I didn’t mind too much. But I do prefer the normal light and fluffy.BUT unlike all the other reviews… this is NOT the best you’ve ever or will ever have.Expect below average and you might feel a glimmer of satisfaction."
