"On our way to Ottawa from Windsor we went through Tweed and saw Tall Boy's sign so stopped for lunch. I had Chicken Caesar Wrap and my sister had Soup of the day with Fish and Chips. Both our lunches were delicious, fresh and too big to eat! Great value for our money and the friendly atmosphere was a nice change from big box places. The owner, "the Friendly Giant" is why it is called Tall Boy's. He greeted us personally and was so nice and the staff were quick and friendly as well. Tweed has a great little restaurant. PS the Caesar was awesome too!"

"Many people will be put off by the location of the restaurant in the Tweedsmuir building, but once you get over that it is a meal to be enjoyed. The food was just fantastic. We were there for Easter dinner. I had the Ham special and my wife had the Turkey. Quantities were excellent and it tasted great. The server was attentive and helpful."

"I highly recommend the fish and chips or the chicken fajita wrap! You also can't go wrong with a side salad. Delicious food, worth the drive from Ottawa."

"Visited this chip truck in desperation...my children claimed to be starving to death in the back seat. If I didn't feel they would make a scene I would have left after seeing the conditions. Flies were everywhere, which couldn't be avoided because the door was open and there were no screens. Straws were unwrapped and had visible dirt on them. No apparent hand washing station?Server was friendly but was dressed in a bikini top covered by a sheer tank top...maybe I have taken too many food safety courses? I'm usually not too picky. Food was bland. Kids had pogos and fries, I had fries. Everything tasted and smelled like seafood. Pricy - two pogo's, two small fries and a medium fry ate up $20. Nearly half was tossed in the garbage. Drive a bit more and eat elsewhere - I recommend Kelly's when in Tweed."

"We were getting hungry and when we drove by the Truly Canadian chip truck we turned around and decided to try it for lunch. I order a chicken burger and fries, thinking I would just get a chicken patty but what I got was a real piece of chicken breast crispy and full of flavour. While we were waiting we tried one of the homemade butter tarts available, definitely a must try. They also make pies on site, if we weren't travelling we would of bought one. They had covered tables and chairs you could sit at, and a washroom available. If your driving around Tweed, ON stop and try it or just take home a pie."
